This position will be part of the WSP US Program Management National Practice, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Scheduling.\nYour Impact\nJob Duties:\nThis position is responsible for providing technical leadership, governance, and advanced scheduling expertise across complex programs and projects. This role serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Primavera P6, development and/or implementation of scheduling standards, and project controls best practices. The position supports internal and external clients by ensuring schedule integrity, consistency, and alignment with cost, risk, and performance objectives across different service lines and contracting methodologies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:\nDevelop and manage integrated master schedules for large, multi-stakeholder programs and projects.\n\nResponsible for developing the project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), work packages, and project performance measures.\n\nResponsible for reviewing, analyzing, and reporting internal project performance, and/or contractor’s schedule performance.\n\nDevelop baseline project schedules and the associated Basis of Schedule documentation.\n\nIdentify schedule activities, dependencies, and durations, that control the overall project and critical path.\n\nConduct and/or review periodic CPM schedule updates, provide schedule quality feedback and comparison reports, and conduct detail schedule reviews.\n\nDevelop Earned Value analysis reports, critical path, look ahead, and resource requirements.\n\nReview and monitor variances from baseline, develop schedule recovery options, and coordinate timely and effective corrective actions to ensure alignment with project and schedule objectives.\n\nSchedule Change Management to include review and analysis of project change orders.\n\nPerform time impact analyses (TIA) to evaluate and determine the impacts of potential delays.\n\nProvide recommendations for schedule recovery, conduct recovery schedule reviews, and perform what-if scenario analysis.\n\nAssess and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the Project Team and Executive Management.\n\nWho You Are\nMinimum Requirements:\n10+ years’ experience in developing and managing CPM project schedules in Primavera P6 or equivalent, with a proven track record in developing, updating and analyzing detailed execution schedules for large scale, complex, programs and projects.\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.\n\nExtensive experience in construction schedule development and management.\n\nAbility to anticipate, identify, and mitigate potential schedule issues and coordinate contingency and/or recovery plans across large, multi-stakeholder project teams.\n\nAdvanced skills in Time Impact Analysis (TIAs), forensic analysis, and What-if-scenarios.\n\nExperience in Earned Value Management (EVM) and EVM reporting.\n\nExtensive experience in Change Order Management, including merit reviews and time impact assessments.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinating across large client multi-stakeholder programs.\n\nEffective reporting and communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree and/or related project controls professional certification(s)\n\nExperience in developing and managing schedules through engineering, procurement, and construction phases, to include commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.\n\nExperience in supporting claims analysis and dispute resolution\n\nEnergetic team player with strong communication skills\n\nStrategic problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\nExperience in mentoring junior schedulers\n\nWSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
