We offer the opportunity to contribute to local and national buildings projects, plus the ability to expand your design skills across other market sectors.\nWhat you’ll do:\nProject lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects;\nEnsure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards - and in alignment with schedules and budgets;\nManage project scope, programme, budgets, and quality outcomes.\nDevelop and maintain strong client relationships and identify new opportunities.\nHandle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients;\nManage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally;\nProvide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team;\nMentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers;\nPartner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.\nAt WSP you’ll find the scale and reach you need to do the kind of work the world needs - and the culture and people that make it the best work of your life.\nAbout You\n Commercial experience in Australia on medium/large building structure engineering projects is essential.\nBachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering) with 8-12 years post graduate industry experience. \n Eligibility to obtain Australian Defence full security clearance is essential - only eligible to Australian Citizens (Permanent Resident, NZ Citizens & Visa holders are not eligible).\nExposure across a range of local building sectors, e.g., transport, metro, health, data centres, retail, defence;\nStrong technical capability in the design and delivery of building projects, supported by advanced knowledge of structural analysis and design software.\nFamiliar with ETABS, RAM Concept and Microstran.\nSolid consultancy experience in a client facing role with ability to lead projects and manage clients.\nStrong track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery and manage project teams.\nExperience coaching & mentoring junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.\nCPENG qualified or close to completion is preferred.\nImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.\nJoin our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
