This is your chance to lead, influence, and make an impact where it matters most.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Senior or Associate Electrical Engineer, you’ll own complex, multi-disciplinary projects, applying your expertise in substation design and high-voltage systems to shape the energy networks of tomorrow. In this role you will:\nLead HV (primary) design for transmission & distribution substations, HV infrastructure, and data centre projects-covering layouts, ratings, sizing, and technical oversight.\nDevelop detailed specifications at both project and equipment levels.\nApply knowledge of power system protection, SCADA systems, transmission lines, underground cables, and earthing design.\nSupport high-voltage scope for Owner’s Engineer and Technical Due Diligence projects.\nReview and verify designs and reports prepared by peers.\nMentor junior engineers and champion technical excellence.\nDrive Safety-in-Design (SID) and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.\nCollaborate across disciplines-civil, structural, geotechnical, secondary, drafting, and control systems.\nUndertake short-term site visits as needed.\nContribute to proposals and business development initiatives.\nAbout You\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.\n7-15+ years’ post-graduate experience in HV/EHV electrical engineering.\nRPEQ/RPEV registration or eligibility.\nProven engineering consultancy experience.\nChartered status at Associate level\nStrong background in substation design, HV infrastructure, cable systems, transmission & distribution utilities, renewable energy projects, and/or data centres.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, robust advice to clients.\nSkilled in proposal and report writing.\nWhy WSP?\nAt WSP, you’ll tap into global expertise, shape landmark projects, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.
