This is an opportunity to contribute to long-term programs across multiple clients and project stages while helping shape a growing Northern Ontario team.\n#CASudburyMiningJobs #GlobalMining\nYour Impact\nSupport the analysis and design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, platforms, and equipment supports.\n\nPrepare calculation packages, design markups, technical notes, and drawing inputs under the guidance of licensed engineers.\n\nContribute to field investigations, measurements, inspections, condition assessments, and construction observations while following safe work practices.\n\nCollaborate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to resolve interfaces, document design changes, and support coordinated project delivery.\n\nProduce quantity take-offs, technical specifications, report content, shop drawing reviews, and responses to requests for information.\n\nParticipate in design reviews, safety discussions, and quality checks; manage assigned tasks; communicate progress; and maintain development records for P.Eng. registration.\n\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nA bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited program.\n\nRegistration as an Engineer-in-Training with Professional Engineers Ontario, or eligibility to register.\n\nFoundational knowledge of structural analysis and steel and reinforced concrete design, with the ability to read engineering drawings.\n\nAbility to communicate technical information clearly and contribute accurate calculations, markups, notes, and drawing inputs under guidance.\n\nA safety-focused approach, attention to detail, curiosity, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment and travel to project sites as required.\n\nCo-op, internship, field, or academic project experience related to mining, industrial facilities, or structural engineering, including exposure to structural analysis, CAD, or BIM tools, is preferred.\n\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
