As a Team Lead, Municipal Engineering, you’ll guide multidisciplinary project delivery, strengthen client relationships, and drive local growth while mentoring a team committed to excellence.\nYour Impact\nIn this role, you will:\nLead a team of municipal engineering professionals delivering water, wastewater, stormwater, roadway, and public works projects across Fredericton and New Brunswick.\nChampion resource planning, recruitment, career development, and performance management to grow a resilient and engaged municipal practice.\nDrive business development initiatives, build trusted client partnerships, and elevate WSP’s market presence in the region.\nGuide project managers in proactively managing scope, schedule, financials, quality, and delivery using WSP’s project management tools.\nOversee workload balancing and utilization, supporting inter-office collaboration across Atlantic Canada.\nProvide senior technical leadership, review and authentication of engineering deliverables, and ensure adherence to WSP quality processes.\nCollaborate with municipalities, regulators, utilities, consultants, and contractors to advance community-shaping infrastructure.\nPromote a culture of safety, innovation, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nA degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. designation in New Brunswick.\n 10 Years of experience\nExperience delivering and leading municipal infrastructure projects such as water, wastewater, drainage systems, or transportation corridors.\nStrong familiarity with municipal clients, permitting processes, and infrastructure priorities within Atlantic Canada.\nProven ability to mentor, develop, and motivate technical teams while fostering a collaborative culture.\nBusiness development experience with demonstrated success building client relationships and growing market share.\nProficiency with design and modeling tools used in municipal engineering (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrotechnical modeling).\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
