Your leadership and technical expertise will help our clients make informed decisions and deliver projects that create lasting value for the communities we serve.\nYour Impact\nLead, engage, mentor, and develop a cost control team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. \nAllocate resources across projects to align team capacity with priorities, schedules, and client commitments. \nOversee the quality of cost control deliverables, reviewing and approving outputs to support consistent, reliable project decisions. \nManage project budgets and forecasts to safeguard financial health and improve visibility throughout the project lifecycle. \nAnalyze cost and schedule variances, recommend corrective actions, and apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to optimize performance. \nPartner with project teams and stakeholders to track performance, communicate insights, and support timely decision-making. \nManage changes and their financial impacts while ensuring compliance with processes, policies, and contractual requirements. \nChampion continuous improvement and operational excellence across the project controls practice. \nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nA bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, project management, or a related field. \n10 to 15 years of cost control experience in complex engineering project environments. \nDeep expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM), project financial control, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and change management. \nDemonstrated experience leading, developing, and allocating work across multidisciplinary cost control teams. \nA strong record of reviewing complex deliverables and translating project data into clear, actionable recommendations. \nKnowledge of AACE and PMI frameworks; related certifications are considered a strong asset. \nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across project, technical, commercial, and client teams.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWhy Choose WSP?
