You will oversee cost control across multiple mandates while leading a team of professionals, directly contributing to impactful projects for our clients and the communities we serve.\nYour Impact\nAs a Cost Controller:\nManage budgets and forecasts to ensure the financial health of projects\n\nAnalyze variances and recommend corrective actions to optimize performance\n\nApply Earned Value Management EVM principles to support decision-making\n\nEnsure rigorous tracking of project performance in collaboration with stakeholders\n\nManage changes and their financial impacts throughout the project lifecycle\n\nEnsure compliance with processes, policies and contractual requirements\n\nAs a Team Lead:\nLead, engage and develop a cost control team\n\nAllocate resources across projects\n\nEnsure the quality of deliverables\n\nReview and approve outputs\n\nParticipate in recruitment\n\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence\n\nThe skills that set you apart\nUniversity degree, bachelor’s in engineering, finance, project management or a related field\n\nMinimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in cost control within complex engineering project environments\n\nProven expertise in Earned Value Management EVM and project financial control\n\nDemonstrated experience in team management and development\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments\n\nKnowledge of AACE and PMI frameworks and certifications strong asset\n\nExcellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills\n\nBilingualism is an asset as the individual will frequently be involved in projects with English-speaking clients and partners outside Quebec\n\nWhy choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
