You can experience a world of opportunity and the chance to shape a career as unique as you.\nA little more about your role…\nBased at WSP’s Liverpool and Northwich offices, working within the UK wide Surveying Services team, alongside the Buried Services Surveying, UAV and MBS teams.\nCoordinating live projects\n\nCarrying out land and engineering surveys with respect to briefs and specifications\n\nProcessing and checking of projects, whilst rigorously adhering to, and ensuring, that the prevailing standards of WSP are adhered to.\n\nMentoring of junior team members\n\nSurveying Services promote the power of joined-up geospatial technologies to bring locational data alive\nCity based offices, with excellent transport links and surrounding area includes shops/café/parking train station\nWorking within a team of 48 Surveyors based UK wide, consisting of Topographical, Measured Building & Buried Services Surveyors and UAV Pilots.\nWorking on surveying projects UK wide \nVaried client base from Local Authorities to Multi-Discipline Consultants\nYour team\nSurveying Services\nWhat we will be looking for you to demonstrate…\nA relevant technical degree/HND in surveying or a related discipline, with significant experience in a similar role, typically 3-7 years·\n\nMembership of a professional body would be advantageous·\n\nAn understanding of project and commercial considerations·\n\nCompetent in the use of total stations, GNSS & terrestrial laser scanners·\n\nExperience in the use of relevant software including N4ce (or similar), Trimble Business Centre (or similar) and AutoCAD·\n\nExperience in the planning and piloting of UAV’s would be advantageous but not essential.\n\nExperience in carrying out Buried Services Surveys would be advantageous but not essential·\n\nKnowledge of Cyclone or Cloudworx would be advantageous but not essential ·\n\nGood problem solving, self-management and people skills·\n\nAbility to work effectively alone or as part of a team·\n\nAbility to manage and mentor staff\n\nThe ability to travel UK-wide on a regular basis is essential for this role.\n\nDon’t quite meet all the criteria?
