A remote work arrangement is also acceptable for this role, allowing flexibility based on the successful candidate’s location and needs. Some travel is required, as needed, to meet, present to, and partner with clients; attend the annual team symposium in Boise; participate in training; and support other business needs as directed by the Senior Director.\nHaving a deeper understanding of emerging technology, communications and project execution in visualization is key to providing our partners with successful solutions.\nThere are many areas a project manager engages in. Some of the key capabilities are:\nManagement\nExcited to develop and maintain great working relationships with WSP staff, WSP management and build partnerships with our clients.\nPartner with the production team to provide clear direction and keep client deliverables on schedule.\nWorks hard to ensure successful project through great planning, while anticipating potential risks and challenges. Continuously work with our clients and project teams to find and implement the best solutions.\nIt is important to be a team player who is willing to follow standard WSP processes, utilize specific tools and workflows to support our amazing team culture.\nLeading multiple projects while coordinating competing deadlines and resources.\nDevelop clear scopes, realistic budgets, resource plans, and schedules for visualization projects.\nEverything we do relies on great communication, empathy and diligence in managing status reporting, timely invoicing, accounts receivable oversight and watching unbilled costs on our projects.\nMaintain accurate work plans, project records, and financial tracking throughout delivery.\nSupport production teams to be successful while they work on projects for our clients.\nTrack deliverables, milestones, risks, decisions, and action items, and communicate project status to clients and internal teams.\nLead or support client status meetings and document decisions, responsibilities, and next steps.\nMonitor project scope and support the timely development of change orders when client needs or project requirements change.\nSupport invoicing, project financial reporting, and the review of unbilled costs and accounts receivable.\nIdentify and escalate schedule, budget, scope, resource, or client concerns to senior leadership when additional support or decisions are needed.\nReport directly to the Senior Director, who will provide training, guidance, and ongoing support as project management responsibilities grow.\nClient Marketing & Sales\nAlways seeking to identify and qualify new clients to build partnerships.\nWorking with the Visualization team to effectively market new and establish clients successfully.\nInterface with other Production Business Units across the company to identify their markets and support as one team.\nIdentify potential projects and support or lead the pursuit to win the work.\nSupport and execute the development of visualization sales goals set by Visualization business Director.\nDevelop partnerships from the initial meeting through the long-term support of each of our clients.\nAble to understand our clients’ issues, goals, budgets etc. and collaborate with the team to develop cutting-edge solutions to support their needs. Consistently focused on “Mutual Success”.\nWork with other divisions in coordinated marketing solutions for our WSP clients based on a focus to bring value in everything we do.\nRemain excited to build your industry network, attend select conferences and present WSP Visualization as an industry SME leader.\nNew Initiatives and Service Areas\nAssist and champion in achieving WSP’s Strategic Goals identified in annual visualization business plan.\nHelp identify new initiatives through innovation and use of emerging technologies.\nAssist in the execution of annual marketing/sales plan.\nRequired Education/Experience\nSuccessful candidates must have 8+ years of visualization, visual analysis, power delivery or energy experience with a good understanding of the visualization industry.\nSome successful Project Management and Leadership Experience.\nSome Sales and Marketing experience.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, project teams, and leadership.\nStrong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and the ability to learn project management, financial, and visualization workflows and tools.\nAbility to work collaboratively with technical and creative professionals in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.\nDesired Education/Experience\nExisting experience in the visualization, environmental, power delivery, renewables, generation, oil/gas, and/or internal strategic industries.\nAn existing network of clients and established relationships.\nExperience presenting at Visualization & Energy specific conferences.\nLead on the preparation and execution of major proposals.\nWSP Benefits\nWSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
