This position plays an important role in keeping daily operations organized and ensuring faculty, staff, and students have the support and resources they need.\nThe ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.\nPay: $23.01 per hour\nPosition Type: Full-Time\nLocation: WSU Tech South\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide administrative support to faculty, adjunct faculty, coordinators, and lead instructors.\nMaintain calendars, coordinate meetings, and assist with meeting agendas, documentation, and minutes.\nManage incoming correspondence, emails, and other communications.\nPerform general administrative and clerical duties, including answering phones, filing, copying, mailing, and bookkeeping.\nCoordinate faculty meetings, adjunct faculty in-service training, team meetings, and department meetings.\nPrepare, manage, review, and summarize reports, documents, memos, and correspondence.\nMaintain information on the WSU Tech Intranet and adjunct faculty database.\nManage VISA expenses and travel-related documentation for assigned programs.\nCoordinate purchasing documents, supplies, and invoices for payment.\nAssist with the maintenance of offices, classrooms, labs, and equipment.\nPrepare and submit adjunct faculty load and compensation payments and maintain related records.\nComplete required professional development activities.\nMaintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.\nProtect confidential and sensitive information.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nFive years of administrative experience, preferably in higher education.\nPrevious bookkeeping and accounting experience.\nStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.\nExcellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nStrong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong math, spelling, computer, and calculator skills.\nAbility to communicate professionally and courteously with employees and the public.\nStrong attention to detail.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree.\nBenefits\nhttps://wsutech.edu/whyhere/\nWSU Tech is committed to inclusive and equitable practices to create an environment and culture where students and employees thrive.
