The position will also help build relationships with industry partners, develop collaborative initiatives, and promote careers and workforce opportunities that are critical to U.S. manufacturing and defense.\nEssential Functions\nServe as an ACE Training Instructor for WSU Tech’s ACE CNC machining training program supported by the U.S. Department of Defense.\nProvide ACE CNC and Metrology instruction and support future areas of ACE training.\nDeliver and support training for K-12 students, industry professionals, public training participants, and other educational institutions.\nPromote machining careers and ACE-related employment opportunities critical to U.S. manufacturing and defense.\nSupport instruction and workforce development related to CNC machining, CAM, machining dynamics, and cost analysis.\nSupport ACE-related K-12 activities, outreach, and promotional events.\nDevelop relationships with industry partners and support collaborative workforce initiatives.\nParticipate in required professional development activities.\nMaintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as College policies and procedures.\nOperate job-related equipment, machinery, tools, and other aids as required.\nProtect confidential and sensitive information.\nPerform other duties as assigned or necessary to support the department and College.\nRequirements\nAssociate’s degree in a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.\nAt least three years of relevant experience in machining, industry outreach, business development, or workforce development, preferably in manufacturing.\nAbility to teach CNC Machining and Metrology and support future ACE program growth.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing technologies, processes, and workforce needs, including areas such as additive manufacturing, precision measuring, and quality control.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.\nAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgment.\nStrong problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, and time-management skills.\nPrevious teaching or training experience preferred.\nPrevious outreach, program development, or business development experience preferred.\nMust obtain ACE Train the Trainer certification within the first three months of employment.\nNC3 Precision Measuring certification preferred.\nBenefits\nhttps://wsutech.edu/whyhere/\nWSU Tech is committed to inclusive and equitable practices to create an environment and culture where students and employees thrive.
