As an Adjunct Faculty member in the Machining Technology program, you will play a vital role in delivering quality education that prepares students for successful careers in machining and manufacturing technology.\nWorksite Location: NCAT Campus\nCompensation $32/hr \nOverview / Job Summary:\nThe Adjunct Faculty in Machining Technology will provide part-time instructional support in the machining fields, including manual and CNC machining processes. This position involves teaching theory and hands-on techniques to help students develop the skills necessary to excel in the machining industry.\nYour day-to-day responsibilities may include:\nDelivering lectures and hands-on instruction in machining technology courses.\nAssisting in curriculum development and updating course materials according to industry standards.\nEvaluating student performance, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records.\nEnsuring the proper use and maintenance of machining tools and equipment during lab sessions.\nCollaborating with full-time faculty and industry partners to maintain course relevance.\nAdhering to college policies and contributing to a positive learning environment.\nRequirements\nEducation:\nAssociates Degree or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution, preferred.\nExperience & Skills:\nIndustry experience in machining technology, including CNC and manual machining, typically 4+ years, preferred.\nPrior teaching or training experience in technical or adult education, preferred.\nStrong understanding of machining processes, safety practices, and machine tool operation.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.\nProficiency with computers and common software applications used in education.\nCommitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.\nBenefits\nhttps://wsutech.edu/whyhere/\nWSU Tech is committed to inclusive and equitable practices to create an environment and culture where students and employees thrive.
