This role focuses on guiding program participants toward success in college and beyond by providing individualized support, workshops, and enrichment opportunities.\nCompensation: $23.01 /hr\nGrant Funded \nWorksite Location: South Campus\nOverview/Job Summary:\nThe Success Coach for TRIO is responsible for providing guidance and support to students in the TRIO program, ensuring that they have the resources and assistance needed to navigate their educational journey successfully.\nYour day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:\nProvide academic, career, personal, and transfer advising to TRIO participants \nLead engaging workshops on topics like financial literacy, study skills, and resume building \nAssist students with FAFSA, scholarship searches, and connecting to community resources \nCoordinate cultural enrichment activities, university visits, and mentoring programs \nMonitor student progress and connect them to campus and community resources \nMaintain accurate documentation and records for program compliance \nParticipate in recruitment and selection of program participants\nSome evening and weekend hours may be required\nOccasional travel to other campuses may be required\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field (Master’s preferred)\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in TRIO programs, student services, advising, or retention work (preferred) \nStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills \nProficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with learning new software \nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and build positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds\nBenefits\nhttps://wsutech.edu/whyhere/\nWSU Tech is committed to inclusive and equitable practices to create an environment and culture where students and employees thrive.
