We operate in a values-based culture and strive towards our behaviors in everything we do.\nCompensation: $15 /hr\nWorksite Location: NICHE\nOperational Support and Preparation\nThese duties focus on ensuring the workspace and materials are ready for use.\nYour day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:\nPreparation and Organization:\nPerform necessary prep work for classes, workshops, or events (e.g., cutting materials, assembling kits, preparing samples, organizing tools).\nStock and organize supplies, equipment, and materials in storage areas, classrooms, or labs.\nAssist in creating an organized and efficient working environment.\nSet-up:\nExecute the set-up of classrooms, labs, or event spaces, including arranging furniture, equipment, and necessary supplies according to instructor or supervisor specifications.\nEnsure all necessary technical equipment (e.g., projectors, computers) is available and functional for instructional use.\nClean-up and Sanitation:\nPerform comprehensive clean-up tasks after classes, workshops, or events.\nWash and sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces.\nResponsible for washing dishes and ensuring all glassware, tools, and containers are properly cleaned, dried, and stored.\nFacility Upkeep:\nEmpty trash and recycling bins as needed.\nReport any maintenance issues, damages, or necessary repairs to the supervisor promptly.\nMaintain the overall cleanliness and safety of the assigned workspace.\nRequirements\nRequirements:\nCurrently enrolled in Culinary or Hospitality programs at WSU Tech, required.\nAdhere to all safety protocols and departmental procedures.\nMaintain a professional, punctual, and reliable work ethic.\nEffectively communicate and collaborate with supervisors, instructors, and peers.\nBe able to lift up to 25 pounds (or specify an appropriate weight) and stand for extended periods.\nBenefits\nhttps://wsutech.edu/whyhere/\nWSU Tech is committed to inclusive and equitable practices to create an environment and culture where students and employees thrive.
