You are comfortable explaining financial information clearly without making the process feel transactional or overwhelming.\nYou are organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. You follow through, communicate well across departments, and take ownership of making sure financial items are resolved.\nMost importantly, you believe that financial conversations should support-not create unnecessary barriers to-accessing treatment.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\n2+ years of experience in healthcare admissions, patient financial services, insurance verification, medical billing, revenue cycle, financial counseling, or a related field preferred\nExperience working with health insurance benefits or patient financial responsibility strongly preferred\nStrong customer service and communication skills\nComfortable discussing financial information with patients and families\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nStrong organizational and follow-through skills\nAbility to maintain confidential patient and financial information\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic business or healthcare systems\nBehavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, residential treatment, or healthcare experience is preferred.\nExperience with commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, billing systems, electronic health records, or admissions platforms is a plus.\nWork Environment\nThis position is based on-site at Renewal Falls Recovery Center in Cedar Falls, Iowaand works closely with the Admissions team, patients, families, and other departments throughout the facility.\nSome flexibility in schedule may be required based on admission volume and operational needs.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nRenewal Falls Recovery Center, powered by Ascension Recovery Services, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
