The role involves supervising field-level project staff, monitoring physical and financial progress, ensuring efficient use of resources, coordinating with government offices and other stakeholders, and preparing timely reports to support effective project implementation.\n\nMajor Responsibilities\n\nOversee, coordinate, and ensure the rigorous execution of RISE project field-level activities in strict compliance with the RISE project proposal, WVIE policies, donor guidelines, and governmental regulatory frameworks.\n\nEnsure the proper physical and financial implementation of the project as planned within the required timeframe while ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of project resources.\n\nOversee and supervise the field-level Project Officer and provide the necessary support for the overall implementation of sectoral activities. Ensure that challenges and concerns are properly handled and take immediate action when needed.\n\nEnsure intentional networking with field coordination, ABC, Woreda and Zonal government offices and institutions, non-governmental actors, and other stakeholders.\n\nEnsure the compilation and submission of financial and narrative reports to the Project Manager.\n\nSubmit operational plans and regular progress reports to the respective Project Managers and government offices on time.\n\nRequired Professional Experience\n\n2–5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a coordinator or management-level position.\n\nExperience in program management, participatory monitoring and evaluation (M&E), community participation, and Participatory Learning and Action (PLA).\n\nExperience in USAID/BHA- and EHF-funded projects is an advantage.\n\nExperience working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is preferred.\n\nRequired Education, Training, License, Registration, and Certification\n\nBA/BSc degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Development Studies, a WASH-related field, or another related field.\n\nPreferred Knowledge and Qualifications\n\nProgram management skills.\n\nKnowledge of community participation, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), and Participatory Learning and Action (PLA).\n\nFluency in spoken and written English.\n\nChild and Adult Safeguarding\n\nWorld Vision is a child-focused organization committed to safeguarding all children and adult beneficiaries.
