activities.\n\nKNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE\n\nRequired Professional Experience\n\nMinimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in resource mobilization, donor engagement, business development, strategic partnerships, and grant acquisition, including senior leadership responsibility.\n\n Demonstrated track record of securing significant funding from institutional donors, bilateral and multilateral agencies, UN organizations, foundations, private sector partners, and domestic funding sources.\n\n Proven experience leading resource acquisition and business development functions, including donor positioning, funding pipeline management, partnership development, opportunity prioritization, and strategic funding decisions.\n\n Experience overseeing donor intelligence, portfolio management, funding diversification, and resource mobilization systems to support long-term organizational growth and impact.\n\n Extensive experience building and managing high-level relationships with donors, government institutions, development partners, foundations, private sector leaders, and other strategic stakeholders.\n\n Demonstrated success leading complex proposal development processes, consortium building, negotiations, and high-value funding pursuits involving multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.\n\n Experience advising senior leadership on donor trends, development financing, funding risks, resource mobilization strategies, and organizational growth opportunities.\n\n Proven leadership experience in developing high-performing teams, strengthening organizational capacity, and driving resource mobilization performance and sustainability.\n\nRequired Education, training, license, registration, and certification\n\nEducation\n\n• Master's Degree in International Development, Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.\n\n• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline, combined with substantial senior-level resource mobilization and leadership experience, may be considered.\n\nProfessional Training\n\n• Advanced training in resource mobilization, donor engagement, business development, strategic partnerships, fundraising, grant acquisition, or organizational growth.\n\n• Training in strategic planning, development financing, results-based management, proposal design, donor compliance, and grant management is an advantage.\n\nProfessional Certifications (Desirable)\n\n• Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).\n\n• Certification in fundraising, resource mobilization, grant management, business development, partnership management, or leadership development.\n\n• Additional
