Date: 2026-10-23\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTo co-ordinate and foster relations with other World Vision Programs in the district as to ensure proper allocation and sharing of resources\n\nCo-ordinate with other Relief and Development Agencies, Local Authorities and Government stakeholder in the District in ensuring that food security and development intervention strategies are targeted to the appropriate target population.\n\nAssist Food Assistance Managers, Development Facilitators and district teams to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate approved activities as per programs design.\n\nEnsure programme compliance to Humanitarian Accountability standards\n\nEnsure that all commodities and other materials earmarked to target populations are properly handled, stored, transported, distributed, tracked, fully accounted for and reported on according to World Vision standard procedures and Donor policy.\n\nParticipate in the recruitment of staffs that have the required knowledge, skill and abilities in order to meet WV food assistance programming standards.\n\nVisit target communities on regular basis to get their perceptions and experience so as to assist in planning and development relevant community-oriented and sustainable programs\n\nConduct unscheduled and scheduled field visit to observe distribution and check compliance with set standards\n\nPrepare district budgets, expenditure analysis resources (financial and material) produce regular and timely progress reports regarding all food programs\n\nAchieve more than 90% project burn rate and 95% implementation rate\n\nIdentify other training needs during appraisal process and liaise with Food Assistance officer and P & C to develop strategies for capacity building.\n\nDevelop and maintain an updated succession plan for the team that can be utilized whenever opportunities arise.\n\nImplement staff performance management strategy.\n\nDevelop a leave management plan and oversee its implementation to ensure staff exercise life work balance.\n\nRequirements\n\nExtensive exposure to food aid programs (minimum 10 years)\n\nProven organizational planning and managerial skills\n\nDemonstrate ability in the design and effective use of training materials\n\nStays open to internal and external feedback\n\nFinds fulfilment in work through creativity, risk taking, initiative, and innovation, and encourages the same in colleagues.\n\nAbility to supervise and mentor subordinates\n\nAbility to work under minimum supervision\n\nDegree in Development Studies, Education, Logistics, humanities with 3 Years' experience in project Management\n\nDiploma in Development studies, Education, logistics with 10 years' experience in project management\n\nKnowledge of commodities & logistics operations, preferably within WV context, specifically those that relate to food distributions, warehousing, reporting, tracking, monitoring
