We are looking for professionals who enjoy mentoring others, value safety and craftsmanship, and are committed to helping students succeed in the skilled trades.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nDeliver engaging classroom and hands-on shop instruction using approved curriculum and lesson plans\nFoster a positive learning environment that encourages professionalism, safety, teamwork, and technical excellence\nPrepare students for successful careers through real-world demonstrations, coaching, and mentorship\nMaintain accurate grades, attendance, testing, and student documentation using the CANVAS Learning Management System and student information system\nPromote and enforce WyoTech policies, professionalism standards, EPA requirements, and safe shop practices\nMaintain classroom equipment, shop tools, and instructional materials to ensure a safe and effective learning environment\nParticipate in instructor meetings, curriculum development, registration, graduation, and professional development activities\nAdvise students regarding attendance, academic progress, professionalism, and career readiness\nCommunicate effectively with faculty, staff, and student support departments to promote student success\nBe available for students before and after class to provide additional instruction and support\nMaintain confidentiality and ensure all educational activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with institutional standards\nPerform other related duties as assigned by department leadership\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications\nCandidates must meet state certification, regulatory agency, and accrediting body requirements, including but not limited to:\nMinimum of 7 years of collision repair industry experience within the last 10 years, or \nMinimum of 5 years of experience with an associate degree\nAbility to satisfy all institutional employment requirements, including employment verification and a comprehensive background investigation\nDemonstrated knowledge of collision repair procedures, structural repair, refinishing, vehicle safety systems, and industry best practices\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and motivate students\nComputer proficiency and willingness to utilize learning management systems and instructional technology\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment\nCommitment to workplace safety and maintaining professional shop standards\nASE, I-CAR, OEM, or other industry certifications are preferred but not required\nWhy WyoTech\nMake a lasting impact by preparing students for rewarding careers in the skilled trades\nWork alongside experienced instructors and industry professionals\nProfessional development and continuing education opportunities\nTeam-oriented and collaborative culture\nTuition reimbursement\nCompetitive benefits package\nPaid Time Off and paid holidays\n401(k) with company match\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nEmployer-paid life insurance and short-term disability coverage\nThe Laramie community offers the perfect balance of small-town charm and outdoor adventure.
