In this role, you will help ensure our campus remains safe, clean, and fully operational by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and grounds maintenance across our facilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes pride in delivering quality work, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities:\nComplete work and repairs in a timely fashion\nEstimate time and extent of repairs\nPerform routine preventive maintenance on commercial buildings\nPerform general ground maintenance, snow removal, lawn mowing, weed control, etc\nWork with and/or oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary\nHelp keep buildings in a clean, orderly, and functional condition\nOther duties as assigned\nAssociated Skills and Experience\nAbility to be punctual for scheduled shifts\nPrevious experience in maintenance, construction, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, or other related trades\nFamiliarity with maintenance tools and equipment, including running snow removal equipment, skid steers, and scissor lifts\nAbility to handle physical workload \nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nRequirements\nMinimum Requirements (A combination of the following experience and training, or the equivalent of, would be qualifying):\nHigh school diploma or GED \nWhy WyoTech:\nWork with students to make a difference in their lives\nWork with a great company that supports not only their staff but the community as well\nTeam building\nTuition reimbursement\nCompetitive benefit package\nPTO and paid holidays\n401K\nHealth insurance - vision and dental included\nLife and short-term disability\nThe Laramie community has the small-town charm with big city events.
