The Analyst III, Procurement Systems Transformation supports the digital enablement of procurement processes as part of ERP and source-to-contract implementation. Working with procurement stakeholders, IT, and implementation partners, this role helps gather and document business requirements, analyze processes, validate system designs, and support implementation and user adoption across the source-to-pay (S2P) lifecycle.Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:\nGather and document procurement requirements with category managers, buyers, and process owners, helping describe current-state processes and define future-state improvements.\nTranslate business needs into clear functional requirements and process documentation for relevant modules, including Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing, and Supplier Management.\nCoordinate with IT and implementation partners to review proposed system designs and confirm that documented requirements, business processes, and compliance needs are addressed.\nSupport system testing, data validation and migration, user acceptance testing, and go-live preparation; document issues and follow through on assigned actions during stabilization.\nParticipate in design workshops and process-mapping sessions, documenting workflows, integrations, business rules, and user roles across procurement, finance, and supply chain.\nSupport change management and user adoption by preparing training materials, communications, user guides, and other documentation for procurement teams.\nCompile and maintain KPIs, reports, and dashboards to help monitor procurement system performance, supplier engagement, and process efficiency.\nAnalyze existing processes and data to identify potential improvements using digital tools, automation, and analytics; share findings and recommendations with the team.\nFollow corporate IT, cybersecurity, and data governance standards and help maintain appropriate documentation throughout implementation activities.\nProvide analysis and documented findings on system capabilities, process practices, and procurement technology options to support decisions by project leads and procurement leadership.\nMaintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively in all interactions.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the manager.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience\nTypically 5 plus years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, business systems, data analysis, or technology implementation.\nExperience supporting ERP, source-to-contract, or procure-to-pay system implementation or enhancement activities.\nExperience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, analyzing data, or supporting system testing and rollout.\nWorking understanding of source-to-contract (S2C) and procure-to-pay (P2P) processes.\nFamiliarity with procurement or ERP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sourcing, Contracts, and Buying & Invoicing.\nAbility to analyze data and prepare reports or dashboards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.\nBasic understanding of integrations between ERP, supplier management, and finance systems.\nClear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business and IT stakeholders.\nAbility to coordinate assigned activities, document workshop outcomes, manage priorities, and escalate risks or issues when needed.\nAnalytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an interest in process improvement and digital transformation.\nLocation: 9801 Washingtonian Blvd, Gaithersburg MD\nWork Site Expectations: Remote eligible\nTravel Expectations: Up to 10% as needed\nHours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri\nCompensation\nAs required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.).
