The position is an advocate for the CAP and serves as liaison between the business teams to provide effective and professional support.Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:\nAdminister the Corrective Action Program software and database and maintain a thorough understanding of the capabilities and functionality of the system.\nReview daily Condition Reports (CRs) to validate appropriate trend codes are applied, and ensure it includes a clear/concise problem description. Additionally, support the screening process in issue classification and action generation as necessary.\nDevelop condition report screening information; assists in obtaining information to clarify CRs; provides agenda and backup information to review new CRs, corrective actions, the extent of conditions, and assignments for disposition by the Corrective Action Review Board.\nMonitor key metrics to track effectiveness of the CAP (i.e. aging CRs, closure of CRs, length of screening process) and provides information/data to management on Corrective & Preventive Actions statistics.\nVerify effectiveness of implemented Corrective & Preventive Actions.\nMonitor Corrective Action progress and ensure problems are being identified and resolved.\nFormal closure of Corrective and/or Preventive Actions.\nParticipate in the Corrective Action Review Board (CARB) meeting.\nServe as Champion to work with interdepartmental groups (including Customers/Suppliers as necessary), and to document and complete Corrective & Preventive Actions.\nPerform Benchmarks and Self Assessments as required and necessary to drive Continuous Improvement and ensure alignment with the nuclear industry.\nIdentify Corrective & Preventive Action steps needed to eliminate issue(s) and prevent re-occurrence.\nProvide Corrective & Preventive Action support across all departments as required and support any urgent issues that require escalation.\nSuccessfully influence members of the team to address and close CRs and actions in a timely manner.\nProvide weekly and monthly feedback progress reports.\nMaintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.\nPerform other duties as assigned by manager.\n\nJob Profile Minimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited university or institution is required.\nTypically, ten years of experience in a relevant role such as quality assurance, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, or operations in a nuclear environment required.\nPrevious experience at X-energy exceeding performance standards may be in lieu of years of experience. \nKnowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ASME NQA-1.\nKnowledge of the application of corrective actions and nonconformance reporting and closure processes.\nKnowledge of Cause Evaluation quality training (e.g., TapRoot, Kepner-Tregoe).\nExperience establishing, monitoring, and analyzing data and trends and reporting results to management.\n\nLocation: 151 Lafayette Drive, Oak Ridge, TN 37830\nWork Site Expectations: 5 days a week in office\nTravel Expectations: up to 10% as needed\nHours: Standard office schedule are 8:00am-5:00pm ET, Mon-Fri\nCompensation\nAs required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.).
