If anyone claiming to represent X-energy directs you in a manner otherwise, please contact us at www.x-energy.com/contact-us.\nJob Description\nOur Engineering Integration Manager will lead and manage the integration of multidisciplinary engineering activities to deliver technically robust, compliant and optimized solutions for nuclear facility projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory standards and stakeholder requirements across the project lifecycle. This role interfaces with various teams, including engineering, project controls, licensing, supply chain, quality, safety, manufacturing, testing, operations, and/or construction functions.Work is at both strategic and tactical levels to understand customer/client needs, communicate project needs and responsibilities to both external subcontracted vendor organizations and/or internal matrixed teams, and ensure project execution is consistent with the program plan and requirements. This leadership role will integrate across teams designing, analyzing, and optimizing complex systems, structures, and components for next-generation advanced reactor plants.\nResponsibilities:\nDirect all phases of assigned engineering integration projects from concept through completion, managing diverse technical disciplines to achieve project goals.\nCollaborate with project managers, technical experts and stakeholders to establish integration strategies, define scope and ensure technical deliverables meet safety, cost and schedule requirements.\nLead coordination efforts across process, safety, mechanical, electrical, I&C and civil engineering domains to ensure technical consistency and resolve integration challenges.\nApprove technical documents, review designs and oversee progress to maintain quality and regulatory compliance within industry standards.\nFacilitate multidisciplinary workshops to align engineering activities, identify project risks and rive resolutions for integration and operational issues.\nMentor engineers, contribute to talent development, and promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team.\nSupport regulatory audits and ensure all engineering integration activities adhere to nuclear safety and compliance programs.\nDrive continuous improvement by monitoring integrated system performance and implementing optimization initiatives.\nMaintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.\nPerform other duties as assigned by manager.\nQualifications:\nTypically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering\nTypically requires 10 years of experience in engineering roles relevant to nuclear facility projects, with 3-5 years integrative, multidisciplinary or management capacities.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex technical projects in regulated environments such as nuclear power or DOE/NRC-regulated facilities.\nStrong technical expertise in engineering principles, system integration and compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements and standards.\nWell-developed leadership, interpersonal and communication skills necessary to coordinate teams and interact with diverse stakeholders.\nLocation: 9801 Washingtonian Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD\nWork Site Expectations: 4 days in office\nHours: Standard office schedule are 8:00am-5:00pm ET, Mon-Fri\nCompensation\nAs required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.).
