The position owns account management, configuration, and lifecycle support for those applications, and manages the application administrators who deliver it. The role works in coordination with the platform owners, IT Support, and Cyber Security, and does not own server, infrastructure, or end user desktop support.Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:\n\nTeam Leadership\nLead, develop, and manage the team of application administrators\nSet priorities, assign work, and balance workload across the application portfolio\nEstablish standards, procedures, and performance expectations for application administration\nSupport hiring, onboarding, training, and career development of the team\nApplication Administration\nOwn account management, provisioning, and access administration across the business and plant application portfolio\nDirect application configuration and functional maintenance across the portfolio\nServe as the direct administrator for an assigned subset of applications, including their configuration, access, and vendor escalation\nProvide lifecycle support for applications, including application updates and version upgrades coordinated with Cloud Infrastructure Systems\nManage application licensing and vendor administration\nMaintain the application inventory and administration documentation\nAccess, Security, and Compliance\nAdminister user roles, access rights, and segregation of duties within applications\nCoordinate with Cyber Security and identity management on provisioning and access controls\nExecute application changes under formal change control\nSupport internal audits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection readiness, and periodic access reviews\nMaintain audit trail and records configuration to regulatory expectation\nService Delivery and Coordination\nEnsure reliable administration and support for business and plant applications\nCoordinate with IT Support on escalation of application issues from end users\nCoordinate with platform and functional owners, including the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and manufacturing execution system (MES) teams, on application administration boundaries\nManage vendor support relationships for administered applications\nMaintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the manager.\nJob Profile Minimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience\nTypically 10 years of relevant experience, with 5 or more years of experience in application or system administration and 2 or more years of experience leading or supervising a technical team\nExperience administering enterprise business applications, including account management, configuration, and lifecycle support\nExperience with user access administration, role management, and segregation of duties\nExperience working under formal change control and computer system validation\nAbility to obtain and maintain unescorted site access\nExperience administering applications in a manufacturing or regulated industrial environment preferred\nExperience with identity and access management across an enterprise application portfolio preferred\nLocation: 151 Lafayette Drive, Oak Ridge, TN 37830\nWork Site Expectations: 5 days a week in office\nTravel Expectations: up to 10-25% as needed\nHours: Standard office schedule are 8:00am-5:00pm ET, Mon-Fri\nCompensation\nAs required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.).
