This role works under the supervision of Directors and Senior Directors of Customer Relationship Development within the Global Business Development team to implement customer engagement, support customer and opportunity qualification, enable business capture planning, and contribute to X-energy’s business development goals with a focus on long-term relationship cultivation and value delivery.Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with assigned potential and existing customers.\nSupport planning and execution of customer engagement opportunities, including meetings, presentations, workshops, and formal responses to RFIs/RFPs.\nGather and communicate customer insights, needs, and priorities to internal stakeholders including engineering, licensing, commercial, and executive teams.\nDevelop and deliver tailored customer value propositions in coordination with cross-functional teams.\nAssist in implementing the customer relationship management (CRM) plan for key accounts.\nTrack and manage customer communications and action items in alignment with business development objectives.\nCoordinate logistics and content for customer meetings, site visits, and key milestone events.\nSupport the development of capture strategies and business cases for new customer opportunities.\nContribute to proposal development and related business development deliverables.\nMaintain awareness of nuclear industry trends and regulatory environment relevant to customer interests.\nEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable nuclear export control regulations.\nMaintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.\nPerform other duties as assigned by manager.\nJob Minimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field.\nTypically, ten years of experience in the nuclear energy, electric power generation, industrial energy, or heavy manufacturing sectors.\nExperience with sales cycles in complex, regulated industries such as nuclear power, utilities, or process industries.\nExperience supporting or developing responses to RFIs, RFPs, and technical proposals.\nLocation: 9801 Washingtonian Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD, or Houston TX office\nWork Site Expectations: 5 days in office\nTravel Expectations: Up to 30%\nHours: Standard office hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm ET, Monday - Friday\nCompensation\nAs required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.).
