This includes interfacing with all engineering disciplines, Team designers, and stakeholders until requirements are satisfied. They will oversee direct reports in the development and implementation of the human factors program in accordance with the program management plan. This individual provides guidance and direction to employees in support of the human factors development to ensure high quality, timely, and cost-effective engineered solutions.Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities\nUse knowledge of engineering to analyze and provide feedback of plant system design.\nAttend stakeholder meetings to ensure stakeholders are satisfied with our work product.\nOverseeing and performing technical reviews and approvals of human factors reports. \nProvide guidance and personnel support in development and validation of plant procedures.\nUse existing procedures to investigate, evaluate and assist in producing technically correct and cost-effective design changes or recommendations to solve ongoing problems.\nUse knowledge and experience to evaluate the \"fit\" between the user, equipment, and their environments; considering the user's capabilities and limitations, seeking to ensure that tasks, functions, information, and the environment suit each user.\nReview submitted engineering data and documents to support human factors analysis and display development.\nReview design change packages in accordance with company procedures.\nMaintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication. \nPerform other duties as assigned by manager.\nJob Profile Minimum Qualifications\nBS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program, with coursework focusing on human factors.\nEight plus years’ experience in human factors implementation.\nFive plus years’ experience in evaluating human actions and capabilities.\nThree to Five years' experience in people management. \nBasic understanding of nuclear engineering, licensing, regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.\nLocation: 5303 Spectrum Drive, Frederick, Maryland\nWork Site Expectations: 4 days in office\nTravel Expectations: up to 10% as needed\nHours: Standard office schedule are 8:00am-5:00pm ET, Mon-Fri\nCompensation\nAs required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.).
