This role documents and captures the project plan developed by program/project leadership, monitors and measures performance against the plan, and reports on key data metrics back to program/project leadership.Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities\nLead the execution the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, without close supervision and some latitude for independent judgment.\nBased on assigned project, could lead estimate deliverables to clients.\nBased on assigned project, could review estimate work products and supporting documents to ensure accuracy. \nProvide feedback and guidance to more junior team members with the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document.\nProvide project controls support to project teams.\nAssist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring accurate timelines and resource allocation.\nSupport program/project leadership in collecting progress and performance updates and updating schedules to reflect actual progress and changes.\nTrack and monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts for assigned program/projects.\nPrepare cost reports and financial analyses.\nHelp identify project risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.\nMaintain risk registers and ensure timely updates.\nCreate and distribute project status reports and performance dashboards to program/project leadership.\nSupport the development of project metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track progress and performance.\nMaintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.\nPerform other duties as assigned by manager.\nJob Profile Minimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in management, business, project management, or related field is required.\nLevel III: Typically, five plus years’ experience in project management or related industry experience.\nLevel IV: Typically, ten plus years’ experience in project management or related industry experience.\nExperience utilizing industry-known best practices in at least one of the areas below:Planning and scheduling\nCost management\nEstimating\nRisk Management\nProject Performance Reporting\n\nExperience using project management software applications.\nAdvanced software skills using on screen takeoff and estimating tools.\nExperience writing the basis of estimate documents.\nKnowledge of several construction and project disciplines.\nBasic understanding of engineering documents and derive quantities from them.\nBasic software application skills (i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel).\nLocation: 9801 Washingtonian Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD\nWork Site Expectations: 5 days in office\nTravel Expectations: 5% (as needed for project assignment)\nHours: Standard office hours are 8:00am ET to 5:00pm ET, Monday - Friday\nCompensation\nAs required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.).
