As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a Project Manager to help ensure that critical customer projects are executed with the quality, responsiveness, and on-time delivery our customers expect.\nPosition Summary\nThe Project Manager will lead cross-functional customer projects from order entry through delivery. This role will coordinate activities across Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to ensure project requirements are clearly understood, schedules are actively managed, risks are identified early, and commitments are met.\nThe ideal candidate is an organized, proactive, and effective communicator with experience working in a technical manufacturing environment and in customer-facing roles. This person must be comfortable communicating directly with customers, providing project updates, managing expectations, and representing X-Microwave professionally throughout the project lifecycle.\nIn addition to project management responsibilities, this role will provide support for selected Sales Operations activities, including maintaining the opportunity pipeline and keeping order tracking current based on received purchase orders. The primary focus of the position, however, will be the successful execution of critical customer projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate complex customer projects involving Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations.\nServe as a primary point of contact for customers throughout assigned projects.\nProvide clear, timely, and professional customer communications regarding project status, schedules, requirements, risks, and open issues.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables.\nEstablish clear ownership, timing, and priorities across functional teams.\nMonitor project progress and proactively identify schedule, quality, material, capacity, and scope risks.\nFacilitate internal and customer project meetings and communicate key decisions, open issues, and next steps.\nEnsure customer requirements, specifications, and delivery commitments are clearly communicated internally.\nTrack long-lead materials, engineering deliverables, production readiness, and other critical project dependencies.\nManage customer expectations and help resolve issues in a timely and solutions-oriented manner.\nEscalate issues promptly and help drive timely resolution.\nProvide regular project status updates to leadership and relevant stakeholders.\nMaintain accurate project documentation and ensure information remains current and accessible.\nSupport continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and reporting.\nAssist with maintaining the sales opportunity pipeline and ensuring opportunity information is accurate.\nSupport order tracking and status updates for customer purchase orders that have been received.\nPerform other related duties as needed to support X-Microwave’s continued growth.\nRequirements\nQualifications\n3-5 years of experience in project management, program coordination, operations, manufacturing, or a related field.\nExperience managing projects involving multiple departments or functional teams.\nExperience working in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, defense, or similar environment.\nPrevious experience in a customer-facing role, with responsibility for customer communication, coordination, or relationship management.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.\nStrong organizational and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nAbility to understand technical information and communicate it clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate project information.\nAbility to identify potential problems early and take initiative to resolve them.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable business software.\nExperience with ERP, CRM, project management, or opportunity-tracking systems is a plus.\nPMP certification is not required.\nDesired Attributes\nProactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership.\nProfessional, responsive, and confident when communicating directly with customers.\nCollaborative and effective at building relationships across departments.\nCalm and solution-oriented when managing changing priorities or project challenges.\nComfortable working in a growing company where processes continue to evolve.\nMotivated by delivering high-quality products and a positive customer experience.\nAble to balance attention to detail with the need to keep projects moving.\nWhy Join X-Microwave?\nThis is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the continued growth of X-Microwave.
