Working closely with production and engineering, you’ll help resolve assembly issues and contribute to a reliable, repeatable manufacturing process.\nThis is a hands-on, on-site role in a boat manufacturing environment. It suits someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with electrical components and tools as part of a production team.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssemble and install electrical components, wiring, and systems in boats in accordance with drawings and work instructions\n\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation\n\nPrepare cables and harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, routing, and securing wires\n\nUse hand tools and electrical assembly equipment safely and correctly\n\nInspect completed work and carry out basic electrical checks to identify assembly issues\n\nReport defects, discrepancies, and missing or incorrect information to the appropriate team\n\nWork with production, quality, and engineering colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes\n\nMaintain an organised work area and follow safety, quality, and production procedures\n\nRecord completed work and communicate progress in line with production requirements\n\nRequired Qualifications\nPractical experience in electrical assembly, installation, or a related manufacturing role\n\nAbility to read and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions\n\nFamiliarity with electrical components, wiring, connectors, and cable preparation\n\nConfident and safe use of hand tools and assembly equipment\n\nStrong attention to detail and a consistent approach to quality\n\nAbility to work effectively as part of a production team and communicate issues clearly\n\nCommitment to following workplace safety procedures\n\nAbility to work on-site in Nyköping\n\nDesirable Qualifications\nExperience in marine, automotive, or another complex hardware manufacturing environment\n\nExperience installing electrical systems in boats or vehicles\n\nFamiliarity with basic electrical testing and fault-finding\n\nRelevant vocational training or certification in electrical assembly or installation\n\nExperience working with production documentation and quality checks\n\nPersonal Qualities\nCareful and methodical, with a practical approach to hands-on work. Takes pride in producing neat, dependable assemblies and raises concerns when something does not match the drawing or expected standard.
