We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.\nELECTRICIAN, CONSTRUCTION\nAs a Construction Electrician, you will install and terminate new electrical infrastructure: conduit, cable tray, underground duct bank, cable, wire, and 480 V building and feeder work. This is a build job, not an operating-plant job - pull, land, and energize new equipment from drawings, then turn it over. You will follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and grounding procedures and support first energization of new 480 V systems. This position is primarily based in Southaven, MS.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nInstall, terminate, and land new campus electrical equipment, including breakers, transformers, switches, buswork, control systems, and batteries at 480 V\nInstall conduit, cable tray, cable, wire, and terminations per issued-for-construction drawings; perform underground duct bank, trench, and cable-pull work\nPerform installation quality checks and electrical testing (voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, insulation megger) and assist with acceptance and commissioning tests on new gear\nRead and interpret construction drawings, one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work orders\nFollow lockout/tagout (LOTO), grounding, clearance procedures, NFPA 70E, and PPE requirements on an active construction site\nUncrate, set, and dress equipment; climb structures; operate hand and power tools, pulls, blowers, pumps, and portable generators\nSupport construction energization sequences, punch-list closeout, and turnover to operations with engineers and vendors\nDocument work performed, test results, and as-built markups\nOperate company vehicles and specialized equipment; inspect and store personal protective equipment (PPE)\nPerform similar or less skilled incidental duties as assigned\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate\n5+ years of industrial or data center electrical construction installing conduit, tray, duct bank, cable, and 480 V terminations\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nAbility to read construction drawings, one-lines, manuals, and work packages\nProficiency with common electrical test tools (multimeter, megger, ammeter) and construction hand and power tools\nWorking knowledge of NFPA 70E and lockout/tagout (LOTO)\nCurrent state journeyman electrician license (Tennessee or Mississippi preferred, or equivalent state journeyman license with the ability to obtain TN or MS)\nIndustrial, manufacturing, or data center construction experience building raceway and cable plant\nExperience on large-scale, multi-site construction projects that required a travel rotation\nOSHA 30 or equivalent construction safety training in addition to NFPA 70E\nKnowledge of print reading for drawings, manuals, and one-lines\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nHourly position with overtime; willingness to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts during construction and energization\nAbility and willingness to travel 80% or more on a construction rotation; per diem provided while on site\nSchedule varies depending on site operational needs; frequent overtime and weekend support is required\nAbility to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working on ladders/lifts at elevated heights with PPE\nAbility to work in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, noise, heat, cold, and rain\nAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment\nStand: up to 6 hours per day\nSit: up to 3 hours per day\nPush/Pull: up to 75 lbs (unassisted) 1-2 hours per day\nOverhead reach: up to 3 hours per day.\nWalk: up to 3 hours per day\nLift/Carry: up to 50 lbs (unassisted) 1-2 hours per day\nSpaceXSI is an equal opportunity employer.
