We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.\nSENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER, COMMERCE PLATFORM\nAs a Senior Product Manager for our Commerce Platform, you will own product direction for the billing systems and purchase flows that power paid products across Grok, X, Grok Bot, and Cursor. This is a technical product role. You will be hands-on with the systems and able to contribute code, but your primary focus is product management for a large-scale billing system. You will do the work of a product manager, applied to building, maintaining, and triaging issues across highly scaled billing infrastructure. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to directly drive significant revenue growth while shaping systems that serve hundreds of millions of users worldwide.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nOwn the product roadmap for the commerce platform billing system across Grok, X, Grok Bot, and Cursor\nDefine requirements and drive delivery for purchase flows, including checkout, paywalls, upsell, and promotional offers\nLead triage of billing issues at scale. Set priorities, coordinate fixes with engineering, and close the loop with support and finance\nDrive the unification of the subscription system across apps and the integration of SpaceXAI payments into the Starlink payment network\nManage product requirements across payment rails, including Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe\nContribute code directly where it speeds up delivery, such as prototypes, tooling, data analysis, and small fixes\nDefine and track billing health and revenue metrics such as payment success rate, involuntary churn, and conversion\nPartner with legal, tax, and compliance teams on market-specific billing methods and compliance requirements to accelerate global expansion\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\n5+ years of product management experience on large-scale consumer applications\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nStrong product management background with deep experience building large-scale, high-stakes systems (Monetization, subscriptions, or fintech, billing, payments, or transactional platforms preferred)\nTechnical depth to read and write production code and to hold architecture discussions with engineers\nStrong track record shipping and operating complex backend-heavy products for consumer applications at scale\nPassion for revenue-generating products and creating exceptional user experiences\nHands-on experience with Apple App Store and Google Play in-app billing and Stripe\nExperience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment\nPrior experience as a software engineer\nFamiliarity with distributed systems, global payments infrastructure, or A/B testing frameworks\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:\n$180,000 - $275,000 USD\nBase salary is just one part of our total rewards package at SpaceXSI, which also includes equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and various other discounts and perks.\nSpaceXSI is an equal opportunity employer.
