We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.\nSpaceXSI is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor for our AI supercompute facilities in Memphis. You will own fleet maintenance for automotive assets, heavy transit vehicles, trailers, UTVs, and industrial equipment. You will run the work-order schedule, cover emergency breakdowns, and occasionally do the work alongside your technicians. \nThis role requires 24/7 on-call coverage for critical breakdowns, and may include nights, weekends, and long hours with limited notice. \nRESPONSIBILITIES: \nLead technicians through daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects, to increase uptime and ensure maximum asset availability across our Memphis facilities \nSet the weekly plan, assign work, and triage requests from internal customers by priority and available resources. \nSource third-party vendors for parts acquisition, documentation, training, and on-site repairs as needed\nBe the subject matter expert for all things related to the fleet \nProvide developmental leadership to technicians, facilitating training and advancement of skills\nTrack team utilization and the maintenance KPIs used to improve uptime\nFacilitate all Title and Registration needs for the fleet\nOversee the lifecycle of all fleet assets from acquisition through disposition\nPerform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure smooth operation of the fleet maintenance team \nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: \nHigh school diploma or equivalent. \nFunctional knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems\n4+ years maintaining or repairing vehicles, fleet equipment, or industrial equipment.\n2+ years leading people, including assigning work and running maintenance jobs to completion. \nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: \nBachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or completion of a related trade school\nASE/OEM certifications \nProficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint\nExperience in a CMMS or other asset-management system \nExperience managing a maintenance budget, third-party vendors, and service contracts \nAbility to work independently with little direction\nAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing priorities environment\nAbility to anticipate needs and develop innovative solutions \nAbility to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering, production, build, and support teams \nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: \nAbility to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position\nMust be willing to work at elevated heights and in tight spaces\nMust be willing to work long hours, nights, and weekends with limited notice to meet the business needs\nProvide 24/7 on-call support for all critical activities and emergency situations\nWillingness to travel to support the business \nSpaceXSI is an equal opportunity employer.
