And that is something to be excited about!\nYour role and responsibilities: \n In this critical position, you'll be responsible for performing measurements on photonic wafers and dies, which form the building blocks of Xanadu’s Fault Tolerant Quantum Computer. Your keen eye for detail and technical aptitude will ensure the integrity of our operations. The chosen candidate will be comfortable working with a mix of sample types, in a variety of sample carriers. You will engage with Test Engineers and Photonic Designers to effectively execute test plans which acquire thousands of measurements. Attention to detail and drive will be critical attributes while working in a highly challenging and dynamic environment pursuing measurements beyond the state of the art.\nBasic qualifications and experience: \n\nCollege diploma in Engineering, Science, or related relevant field\n1+ years experience working in a laboratory environment with optical and/or semiconductor testing\nWorking proficiency of Python programming and familiarity with Jupyter notebooks\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks\nAbility to follow complex instructions and adhere to strict protocols\nTime management skills and capacity to meet deadlines consistently\nPerform regular data entry and validation with a focus on accuracy and detail\nMonitor system performance and conduct thorough checks to ensure optimal functionality\nExecute standardized technical procedures meticulously to maintain system integrity\nPreferred qualifications and experience:\n\nBSc degree in Engineering, Science, or related relevant field\nExperience with material handling units and wafer loader systems\nFamiliarity with a range of wafer handling hardware\nExperience of working in clean room environments.\nExperience in control charts and FMEA\nGiven the nature of the primary duties and responsibilities of this role, it is an essential term and condition of this role that the core hours of work may involve an evening shift schedule of Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. - 11 p.m., subject to the company needs. \nThis is for a new position. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and internal benchmarks. The base salary range is 80,000 - 110,000 CAD.
