This internship will provide you with invaluable real-world experience in several revenue performance and business analytics areas, such as updating corporate revenue reporting, sales reporting, learning business analytics tools like Power BI (Microsoft) and complex datasets existing in the company’s reservation system. Through collaboration and participation in departmental meetings, the intern will work closely with the Windstar analytics team and learn the facets of how Revenue Performance serves as a business partner to drive the company’s strategic goals.\nThis internship will be based in Windstar Cruises' Corporate Offices in Doral, FL.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze and compile revenue & occupancy reporting on a weekly basis \nBuild new dashboards in Power BI or similar business intelligence tool\nReporting validation for future automation purposes \nSupport evolution and migration of historical data from Excel into modern data lake \nResearch revenue & business trends, summarize promotional effectiveness \nCreate script documentation & SOP’s for updating reports \nQualifications\nBusiness Analytics major with at least 2 years of course work completed\nBasic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Python & Advanced Excel (formulas) preferred \nAbility to communicate in a clear and professional manner\nAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality\nEEO: Windstar is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
