The Financial Reporting segment is responsible for turning accurate financial records into structured financial statements, period-end closures, management analysis, and statutory compliance documentation to ensure financial integrity, control, and visibility. \nTHE ROLE\nThe Executive - Financial Reporting will assist in the preparation of period-end and year-end financial statements, supporting schedules, and account reconciliations. This role ensures timely books closure, accurate financial disclosures, and reliable data analysis for management reporting and statutory audit support. \nWHAT YOU'LL OWN\nPreparation and accuracy of year-end financial statements, financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting working papers. \n\nExecution of tasks supporting month-end and year-end books closure and the finalization of accounts. \n\nMaintenance and updating of financial dashboards, analysis reports, and management documentation. \n\nStatutory and external audit support through complete, accurate audit schedules and financial documentation. \n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nAssist in preparing period-end and year-end financial statements along with related supporting schedules and reconciliations. \n\nSupport month-end and year-end books closure and the finalization of accounts. \n\nAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variance drivers, discrepancies, and unusual account movements. \n\nMaintain and regularly update financial dashboards, management reporting schedules, and financial analysis files. \n\nApply fundamental accounting principles and IFRS guidelines to financial reporting activities and working papers. \n\nAssist statutory auditors and external consultants by providing financial statements, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents. \n\nIdentify continuous improvement opportunities within financial reporting processes to enhance reporting accuracy and controls. \n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B. Com), Master’s degree (M. Com), MBA in Finance, or CA Inter / CA IPCC qualification. \n\nExperience: 3 - 4 years of hands-on experience in financial reporting and accounting.\n\nCore Skills: Experience in month-end and year-end books closure and financial statement compilation. \n\nReconciliation & Analysis: Strong analytical capability with a track record of owning financial reconciliations and balance sheet schedules. \n\nTools & Software: Working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and financial data analysis. \n\nDomain Knowledge: Proficiency in understanding of core financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and accounting principles. \n\nExecution & Accuracy: Good attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet strict period-end reporting deadlines. \n\nCommunication: Good verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal finance teams and external auditors. \n\nGOOD TO HAVE\nBasic understanding or working knowledge of IFRS. \n\nDirect experience interacting with statutory auditors, consultants, or external accounting advisors. \n\nHands-on experience developing or maintaining financial dashboards and MIS reports. \n\nPrior experience with international financial reporting will be an added advantage.\n\nKnowledge of statutory filings in the US, UK, Dubai or Singapore will be viewed favourably.\n\nWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE\nTimely and accurate preparation of period-end and year-end financial statements, closure schedules, and ledger reconciliations. \n\nSeamless coordination with statutory auditors resulting in smooth audit cycles with complete documentation.\n\nConsistent delivery of reliable financial analysis and updated management dashboards to support finance leadership. \n\nLIFE AT XAPADS MEDIA\nAt Xapads Media, we place a strong emphasis on employee growth and continuous development.
