For the right candidates, consideration will be given to join our Xcellink Achievers Program with sign-on incentive and career development support.\nRequirements\nRole Responsibilities\nPerforming security testing, including penetration tests, to uncover weaknesses, create threat models, and assess risks. \nTo also implement security tools and automate testing within CI/CD pipelines. \nIn addition to responding to security incidents, educate developers on secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.\nCollaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed.\nStay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.\nPerform continuous monitoring of security systems and assist in incident response activities.\nAnalyze current cybersecurity systems and recommend improvements and modifications to enhance security measures.\nPrepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports on findings, procedures, and recommendations.\nProvide mentorship and guidance to other junior cybersecurity engineers in the team\nQualifications:\n Diploma/degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.\n 5 to 8 years of working experience of which 1 to 2 years of experience in cybersecurity related scope will be advantageous. \nGood understanding of cybersecurity frameworks \nKnowledge of security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.\nRelevant certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP) are advantageous but not compulsory.
