Our clients - banks, asset managers, and financial services firms - rely on Xceptor to source, curate, and automate the flow of their most critical trade and market data. As this area of the platform sits close to trading and post-trade workflows, we're looking for someone who understands first-hand the pressures, workflows, and data challenges our clients face. As Product Manager, you will define and drive the roadmap for your area, working closely with clients, Sales, Client Delivery, and Engineering to ensure we build the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.The role will suit someone with a creative and innovative mindset who has the ability and motivation to drive forward their ideas. You’ll want to be part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and forward-thinking organisation, with a real opportunity to help shape the future of the Product team and Xceptor as its growth story continues.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nOwning the product roadmap and strategy for a defined post-trade area of the Xceptor core platform, prioritising features and enhancements based on client value, market opportunity, and commercial impact.\nGathering and synthesising requirements from clients, partners, and internal stakeholders (Sales, Client Delivery, Support) to define clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nDesigning user research testing (product usability), working with research and product to translate insights into product features and functionality.\nWorking closely with Engineering, UX, and QA throughout the product development lifecycle, from discovery and design through to release, ensuring features are delivered on time and to a high standard.\nDefining and tracking success metrics for features and releases, using client feedback and platform data to inform ongoing prioritisation and iteration.\nCommunicating product plans, roadmaps, and release updates clearly to internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, directly to clients and partners.\nRepresenting the voice of the client internally and the voice of Xceptor externally, building strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders to inform the product strategy.\nWho we're looking for:\nExperience as a Fintech Product Manager, or similar role.\nExperience working in a fintech, financial services, capital markets, or other regulated environment.\nKnowledge of post-trade (middle and back office) operations in banks is useful but not essential.\nStrong understanding of product management principles and Agile delivery methodologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.\nAbility to balance multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.\nComfortable operating in highly technical discussions with engineers, architects, and technology leaders.\nCan read and understand code and enjoys engaging with technical concepts.\nHas a strong builder mindset and is passionate about creating products that enable others to succeed.\nIs naturally curious and constantly learning about new technologies, tools, and approaches.\nBalances strategic thinking with hands-on execution.\nDemonstrates strong ownership and accountability for outcomes.\nChallenges assumptions and seeks innovative solutions to complex problems.\nCommunicates clearly, openly, and effectively across technical and business audiences.\nThrives in a fast-paced, ambitious, and collaborative environment.\nDiversity & Inclusion at Xceptor\nWe believe great ideas come from everywhere - and that the best teams are made up of people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
