GCP Platform Engineer

You will be:
designing, building, and maintaining cloud platform solutions using GCP,
developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for scalable and reusable environments,
building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments,
driving infrastructure automation and self-service capabilities for engineering teams,
supporting migration activities across multiple streams ensuring reliability and scalability,
collaborating closely with data engineers, data architects, and delivery management,
ensuring platform observability, reliability, and performance,
contributing to best practices in cloud governance, security, and cost optimization.
Your profile:
strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP),
solid expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code),
experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines,
strong background in infrastructure automation,
experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architecture,
ability to work in complex, multi-stream enterprise environments,
strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset,
good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams,
experience with platform engineering / internal developer platforms,
exposure to data platforms (BigQuery, Kafka, pipelines),
experience in large-scale migrations or transformation programs,
familiarity with monitoring, logging, observability tools,
understanding of security best practices in cloud environments,
practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.
Nice to have:
experience with self-service platforms / developer enablement,
knowledge of AI enablement or advanced automation use cases,
certifications in GCP or Terraform,
experience working in international, distributed teams,
experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work,
interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
