You ensure our services remain competitive,\nscalable, secure, and aligned with customer needs and business objectives.\nYou play a key role in bridging technology, operations, commercial priorities, and customer outcomes while\nhelping shape the future of our Managed Services portfolio.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Managed Services Solution Lead - Data Platform, you own the direction and success of one or more Data\nPlatform propositions within our Managed Services portfolio.\nService Ownership and Portfolio Management\nOwn the vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of one or more Data Platform propositions.\nContinuously improve propositions based on customer feedback, business priorities, market\ndevelopments, and technology innovation.\nDefine and maintain service offerings, service tiers, commercial positioning, and proposition\ndocumentation.\nAct as the primary owner for proposition success and service evolution.\nMonitor proposition adoption, performance, customer satisfaction, and overall service health.\nProduct Management and Roadmap Ownership\nDevelop and maintain proposition roadmaps aligned with customer demand, platform strategy, and\norganizational objectives.\nPrioritize enhancements, suggest technical investments, automation initiatives, and new capabilities.\nDefine requirements and business cases for proposition improvements.\nPartner with engineering teams to ensure successful realization of roadmap initiatives.\nBalance customer requirements, operational considerations, and strategic objectives.\nRelease and Service Lifecycle Management\nGovern proposition releases and the introduction of new capabilities.\nEnsure changes are communicated effectively to Service Delivery Management teams and customers.\nMaintain lifecycle plans for services, technologies, and platform components.\nDrive continuous service improvement and proposition maturity.\nManage technical debt and proposition modernization initiatives.\nEngineering and Delivery Alignment\nWork closely with Azure, Data, and Platform Engineering teams to align engineering efforts with proposition\npriorities.\nProvide functional direction and prioritization to engineering squads.\nEnsure services are operationally ready, supportable, scalable, and standardized.\nDrive automation and operational excellence initiatives across services.\nSupport the operationalization of new capabilities into managed services.\nCustomer and Service Governance\nSupport Service Delivery Management teams during customer reviews and strategic discussions.\nParticipate in major customer escalations when proposition expertise is required.\nEngage with customers to understand evolving business requirements and translate them into service\nimprovements.\nCollaborate with Service Delivery Management to improve customer outcomes and service quality.\nDefine and track proposition success metrics and service KPIs.\nInnovation and Market Leadership\nStay current with developments in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, data platforms, AI, analytics, and\ndata governance.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to strengthen the portfolio.\nContribute to the broader Managed Services strategy and innovation agenda.\nSupport go-to-market activities, proposition positioning, and thought leadership together with commercial\nteams.\nHelp shape the future direction of XMS Data Platform Managed Services.\nRequirements\nYou combine strong technical expertise in modern data platforms with product ownership, stakeholder\nmanagement, and strategic thinking. You enjoy translating customer needs and technology innovation into\nscalable managed services.\nYou are comfortable working across engineering teams, Service Delivery Management, Delivery Centers,\ncustomers, and senior stakeholders in an international environment. This role requires a balance of technical\ndepth, commercial awareness, operational understanding, and service ownership.\n5+ years of experience in data platforms, cloud engineering, managed services, consulting, product\nownership, or solution leadership roles.\nStrong understanding of Microsoft Fabric and the Azure Data Platform ecosystem.\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Power BI, Azure Data Lake Storage,\nAzure SQL, Databricks, Event Hub, and Purview.\nStrong understanding of data platform architecture, governance, security, analytics, and operational\nexcellence.\nExperience defining service roadmaps, proposition improvements, platform strategies, or product\nownership activities.\nExperience working with engineering teams and agile delivery methodologies.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.\nAbility to balance customer requirements, business priorities, operational considerations, and technical\ndirection.\nExperience with managed services or service-oriented operating models is highly desirable.\nRelevant Microsoft certifications such as DP-600, DP-203, AZ-305, or PL-300 are considered a plus.\nFluent English communication skills are required, with the ability to collaborate effectively across\ninternational teams, Delivery Centers, customers, and stakeholders.\nYour Path to Success in Your First Year\nEstablish clear ownership of the Data Platform proposition portfolio and define a compelling roadmap.\nDeliver meaningful proposition improvements, automation initiatives, and service enhancements.\nBuild strong working relationships with engineering teams, Service Delivery Management, Delivery Centers,\nand customers.\nIncrease service maturity, operational scalability, and platform consistency.\nImprove customer satisfaction through continuous service evolution and innovation.\nContribute to the broader Managed Services portfolio strategy and innovation agenda.\nBecome the recognized proposition owner and subject matter expert for Data Platform Managed Services\nwithin XMS.\nSuccess Profile\nA strategic thinker with a strong product mindset.\nPassionate about data platforms, cloud technologies, and managed services.\nComfortable working across business, technology, operations, and customer stakeholders.\nExperienced in balancing long-term vision with practical execution.\nFocused on creating scalable, supportable, and commercially successful managed services.\nAble to translate technical innovation into customer value and service differentiation.\nDoes this sound like the kind of place where you can thrive?
