Learn more about us at www.xerox.com.\nLocation: Webster, NY\nSchedule: Days, Monday-Friday (Overtime available on Saturdays!)\nCompensation: $30.46 per hour\nPosition Overview\nXerox is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Operator to support the manufacturing and reclaiming of fuser, pressure, and metering rolls within WFBC. This position operates fully automated machinery, manually loaded equipment, and a variety of precision machining systems to produce parts that meet established quality and safety standards.\nThe ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting CNC and conventional manufacturing equipment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSet up and operate manual and computer numerical control (CNC) machining equipment.\nOperate turret lathes, large multiple-spindle drill presses with up to 72 spindles, precision grinding equipment, and boring equipment.\nOperate waterjets, washers, ovens, pinning equipment, and synchronous and non-synchronous transfer equipment.\nOperate sophisticated material-handling equipment, including hoists, jib cranes, and overhead bridge cranes.\nComplete equipment setups and changeovers while adjusting speeds and feeds to produce parts according to specifications.\nMake approved program edits and troubleshoot machining or process-related issues.\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and worksheets.\nInspect and gauge parts using precision measurement tools, including micrometers, laser micrometers, verniers, dial gauges, electronic indicators, surface plates, and standard or specialized gauges.\nMonitor processes through manual and automated Statistical Process Control (SPC) tracking.\nAdjust process equipment as needed to maintain established operating parameters.\nZero gauges and ensure measurement equipment is properly maintained.\nMonitor cutting-tool wear and replace tools as necessary to maintain product specifications.\nAccess and enter production data using Windows-based computer systems.\nRetrieve and return tools and gauges from designated storage areas.\nCoordinate the calibration of gauges with the Metrology team.\nWork with ferrous and non-ferrous materials, coolants, solvents, soaps, pins, and other manufacturing materials.\nFollow all safety procedures, including requirements related to robotics, lasers, machinery, material handling, and personal protective equipment.\nEstablish and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others in the department.\nRequirements\n2-5+ years experience operating CNC, automated, or conventional machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.\nCan complete machine setups, equipment changeovers, program edits, and basic troubleshooting.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and manufacturing instructions.\nUse precision measuring instruments to verify that parts meet required specifications.\nUnderstand machining concepts such as speeds, feeds, cutting-tool wear, and process adjustments.\nExperience using SPC methods or other production-quality tracking systems.\nExperience with Windows-based computer systems to access and record manufacturing data.\nCan safely operate material-handling equipment and work with various manufacturing materials.\nDetail-oriented and committed to quality, accuracy, and workplace safety.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience manufacturing or reclaiming rollers, precision components, or similar products.\nExperience operating turret lathes, multi-spindle drill presses, waterjets, grinders, boring equipment, or transfer equipment.\nFamiliarity with robotic and laser safety procedures.\nExperience working with automated manufacturing cells.","description_format":"text","description_chars":4412,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Document Management","Printers & Scanners","Managed Print Services"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-26T15:52:00Z"}],"liveness":{"score":84,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.838,"p_room":1,"age_days":1,"expected_fill_days":6,"reasons":["conf:34","velocity","win:early","comp:junior,brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":60000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/xerox-cnc-manufacturing-operator","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/xerox-cnc-manufacturing-operator.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T06:51:08Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4952,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":48,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
