Purpose
The Indirect Procurement Analyst supports Global Spend Management (GSM) transactional procurement activities for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This role is responsible for day-to-day procurement transaction processing, spend and compliance monitoring, and reporting support - helping ensure procurement policies are followed and operational efficiency is maintained across regional and global systems.
Key Responsibilities
Transactional Procurement Support (DACH)
- Process supplier deactivation requests and PR (Ariba) / SRM approvals in line with policy, including review and GRN compliance.
- Maintain PR/PO/receipts for assigned requisitioners, including reassignment of abandoned requisitions.
- Close purchase orders and perform PO adjustments required for invoice reconciliation (e.g., price holds).
- Review, validate, and approve SCNs.
- Manage late order report documentation and related information.
- Coordinate SAP Ariba-related requests with the TCS AMS support team.
- Provide ServiceNow SRM system support across EMEA.
- Support ePayables activities and participate in SAP testing as needed.
Spend Analysis & Reporting Support
- Collect and organize indirect spend data to support identification of trends and compliance gaps.
- Prepare recurring procurement reports and dashboards for category managers, highlighting key metrics and supplier performance.
Supplier & Category Support
- Support supplier onboarding and performance monitoring for indirect categories.
- Provide category managers with data pulls and analysis to support sourcing activities.
Process Support & Continuous Improvement
- Flag process inefficiencies and waste and propose practical improvements to procurement workflows and tools.
- Support stakeholders in streamlining requisition-to-payment processes.
- Contribute to procurement-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records to support audits and governance reporting, including in-country audit support.
- Ensure transactions comply with global procurement policies and contractual obligations.
- Respond to general procurement queries from stakeholders globally, and manage internal/external stakeholder communication.
Onboarding & Backup Coverage
- Support onboarding of new team members, introducing them to systems, policies, and procedures.
- Act as backup for the Iberia (Spain & Portugal) Transactional Procurement Analyst role when required.
Qualifications
Languages
- English - advanced level
- German - intermediate or above
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in procurement-related activities.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and procurement platforms (Ariba).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively within evolving processes and systems.
- Knowledge of global sourcing practices and indirect procurement trends is a plus
