Learn more about us at www.xerox.com.\nJob Summary\nThe IT Operations Support Student Intern will assist the IT Operations team in supporting daily technology-related activities and ensuring smooth and efficient IT services for internal users. The intern will gain hands-on experience in IT support, incident management, system monitoring, documentation, asset management, and operational processes while working closely with experienced IT professionals.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide first-level support for basic hardware, software, and network-related concerns.\nAssist in monitoring and tracking IT incidents and service requests.\nSupport user account administration activities, including account creation, modification, and deactivation.\nHelp maintain and update IT documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.\nAssist in hardware and software inventory management and asset tracking.\nPerform routine system checks and report issues or abnormalities to the team.\nSupport data gathering, report preparation, and operational metrics tracking.\nAssist with workstation setup, equipment deployment, and user onboarding activities.\nParticipate in IT projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.\nEnsure compliance with company information security policies and IT operational standards.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities related to IT operations as assigned by the supervisor.\nQualifications\nCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\nMust be eligible to undergo internship/OJT as required by the school.\nBasic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting concepts.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office applications.\nKnowledge of Windows operating systems and common IT support tools is an advantage.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.\nPreferred Skills\nBasic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).\nFamiliarity with ticketing systems or IT service management processes.\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity and data privacy principles.\nBasic knowledge of cloud technologies and
