Hybrid (2 days in office)\nCompensation: €65,000-€75,000\nPosition Overview\nXerox is seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to serve as the primary presales partner to the Go-to-Market organization for Managed Print Services (MPS) opportunities. This client-facing role oversees MPS projects, software, solutions, and services throughout the presales lifecycle-from initial discovery and assessment through solution design, proposal development, costing, contract negotiation, and handoff to Project Implementation.\nThe Solution Consultant analyzes client requirements and collaborates with sales teams, operations, legal partners, and subject matter experts to design tailored solutions that deliver measurable value. As a member of the Client Focus Team, this position bridges sales and operations to ensure proposed solutions are profitable, cost-effective, operationally viable, deployable, and aligned with customer requirements.\nThis role supports domestic, multi-country, and global engagements and leads the creation, review, and negotiation of Statements of Work for both new and existing customers.\nWhat You’ll Do\nClient Engagement and Advisory\nServe as a primary liaison among clients, Go-to-Market teams, Service Delivery, Operations, and other stakeholders throughout the solution-development lifecycle.\n\nPartner with sales teams to prospect, qualify, and develop new business and renewal opportunities.\n\nParticipate in account planning, strategic business reviews, and Go/No-Go decisions.\n\nBuild trusted relationships with key client contacts and serve as a subject matter expert on business and technical matters.\n\nCommunicate Xerox capabilities and differentiators while identifying solutions that improve client performance and deliver measurable value.\n\nPresent proposed solutions, recommendations, and supporting business cases to clients and senior stakeholders.\n\nIdentify opportunities for account growth, fleet optimization, service improvements, and increased profitability.\n\nClient Assessment and Requirements Analysis\nConduct current-state assessments and define future-state requirements for client environments.\n\nEvaluate hardware fleets, document workflows, business processes, and related operational requirements.\n\nLead discovery sessions and client interviews to identify business needs, challenges, and desired outcomes.\n\nCoordinate onsite, remote, and data-based assessments.\n\nDevelop current- and future-state maps covering device optimization, workflows, services, and implementation strategies.\n\nCreate Smart Refresh and renewal scenarios using existing fleet data to improve customer outcomes and profitability.\n\nDocument solution requirements, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and success criteria.\n\nSolution Design and Costing\nDesign end-to-end MPS solutions incorporating hardware, software, technical services, and operational support.\n\nDevelop optimized hardware fleet designs and alternative solution scenarios.\n\nCreate software and service design concepts aligned with client needs and Xerox standards.\n\nValidate client requirements against existing Xerox capabilities and evaluate the feasibility and commercial value of nonstandard requests.\n\nCoordinate with country teams to confirm local service, support, regulatory, and operational capabilities.\n\nEngage technical experts and cross-functional stakeholders to develop complex or specialized solutions.\n\nManage software quotations, solution costs, cost models, and pricing structures.\n\nConduct operational and financial risk assessments and provide accurate inputs for business-case development.\n\nRecommend pricing strategies in partnership with the Client Focus Team and participate in business-case reviews.\n\nDevelop high-level project plans, transition strategies, RACI documents, and communication and escalation plans.\n\nAdapt solution approaches to meet diverse regulatory, cultural, and operational requirements across multiple geographies.\n\nContract Development and Negotiation\nCreate Statements of Work for MPS services and software solutions.\n\nCollaborate with sales, legal, technical, operational, and subject matter expert teams to secure final approvals.\n\nLead the review and negotiation of Statements of Work, ensuring contractual language accurately reflects the proposed solution.\n\nEvaluate operational risks and assess changes that may affect the approved business case.\n\nEnsure proposed solutions and contractual commitments comply with applicable global and local legal requirements.\n\nObtain guidance and approval from Xerox Legal when required.\n\nProject Readiness and Handoff\nManage the solution-design workstream, including timelines, deliverables, approvals, and stakeholder communication.\n\nDevelop high-level project plans for software, services, and client-transition activities.\n\nLead internal launch and readiness meetings.\n\nFacilitate operational reviews, sign-offs, and approval processes.\n\nPrepare and lead formal handoff meetings with Project Implementation teams.\n\nSupport an effective transition from presales solution design to implementation and service delivery.\n\nConduct post-engagement reviews and document lessons learned, best practices, and reusable knowledge.\n\nWho You Are\nBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.\n\nSeven or more years of experience in solution consulting, presales, business consulting, service delivery management, or a related field.\n\nExperience developing complex client solutions and working directly with senior client stakeholders.\n\nStrong knowledge of solution design, proposal development, cost modeling, pricing, and business-case preparation.\n\nExperience drafting and negotiating contracts and Statements of Work.\n\nDemonstrated ability to identify, quantify, communicate, and mitigate operational and financial risks.\n\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to evaluate multiple solution options and adapt business processes to meet client needs.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical and business concepts clearly.\n\nStrong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.\n\nProject management skills and experience managing multiple complex engagements in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExperience documenting current- and future-state business and operational processes.\n\nHigh level of business acumen, organization, and attention to detail.\n\nAbility to establish and manage cross-functional and cross-cultural teams across multiple geographies.\n\nExperience collaborating effectively within virtual teams of highly skilled professionals.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio.\n\nAdvanced English-language proficiency.\n\nInterest in adopting AI-enabled tools and workflows, including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and agent creation.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Managed Print Services opportunities or related technology and service solutions.\n\nExperience managing domestic, multi-country, or global solution engagements.\n\nProficiency with Power BI Desktop.\n\nPMP, ITIL, Six Sigma, Change Management, or another relevant professional certification.\n\nProficiency in one or more additional
