This position provides career coaching, job readiness training, employment placement assistance, and ongoing support to participants as they work toward their personal and professional goals. The Coordinator collaborates with employers, training providers, community partners, and internal programs to create pathways to sustainable employment and career advancement.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nProvide individualized career coaching and employment counseling to participants.\nAssist clients with career exploration, goal setting, and development of individualized employment plans.\nConduct job readiness workshops covering resume development, interview preparation, workplace professionalism, and job search strategies.\nSupport participants in identifying educational programs, vocational training opportunities, certifications, and career advancement pathways.\nDevelop and maintain relationships with local employers to identify employment opportunities for participants.\nAssist participants with job applications, resume submissions, and interview scheduling.\nMonitor participant progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful job retention and career growth.\nMaintain accurate participant records, case notes, and program documentation in accordance with agency requirements.\nCoordinate referrals to supportive services that address barriers to employment, including transportation, childcare, housing, and other community resources.\nTrack program outcomes and assist with reporting requirements related to employment placements, retention, and participant success metrics.\nParticipate in outreach events, recruitment activities, job fairs, and community engagement initiatives.\nCollaborate with internal departments and external partners to provide comprehensive services to participants.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, Business Administration, Workforce Development, Counseling, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of two years of experience in workforce development, career services, employment counseling, case management, or related human services work.\nKnowledge of job search techniques, career development practices, and workforce systems.\nAbility to build productive relationships with employers, community partners, and participants.\nStrong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.\nBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong coaching, mentoring, and motivational interviewing skills.\nAbility to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve employment and career goals.\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.\nStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.\nWorking Conditions\nThis position requires a combination of office-based work, community outreach, and participant engagement activities. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support program events, employer partnerships, and workforce development initiatives.
