This role is responsible for accurate invoicing, contract support, customer account reconciliation, and billing issue resolution across a high-volume customer environment.\nIn this role, you will partner with Finance, Operations, and customer-facing teams to manage recurring monthly billing activity, research account discrepancies, and help ensure customer accounts are billed accurately and on schedule.\nHealthcare or pharmacy billing experience is not required. Experience in Netsuite, fintech, SaaS, payments, or another high-volume billing environment would be a potential fit for this role.\nThis position will be located at our office in San Diego, CA.\nThis position is not eligible for employment sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States.\nHow you will make an impact:\nIn this role, you’ll:\nPrepare and process monthly invoices for pharmacy and laboratory customers, ensuring billing is accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule\nManage high-volume billing activity across assigned accounts, following established billing calendars, controls, and customer requirements\nReconcile customer accounts, research variances, and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, credits, and adjustments\nContract support: use contract pricing, fees, and payment terms, review of termination and renewal provisions\nReview billing data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before invoicing\nPartner with Finance, Operations, and customer-facing teams to resolve billing questions and support timely collections\nMaintain accurate billing documentation, account notes, reconciliations, and audit support\nIdentify recurring billing issues, recommend process improvements, and help strengthen monthly billing controls\nSupport month-end billing close activities, reporting, and account reconciliation\nUse NetSuite and other tools to manage invoicing workflow and account activity\nWhat you will bring to the role: \nWe’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a high degree of accuracy. You might be a great fit if you:\nBring strong attention to detail when working with contracts, invoices, account data, and reconciliations\nHave experience in high-volume billing, invoicing, account reconciliation, or related finance operations environments\nAre comfortable managing recurring monthly billing cycles with tight deadlines and multiple customer accounts\nCan research discrepancies, follow through on open issues, and communicate clearly with internal partners\nTake a process-minded approach and know when to escalate issues or recommend improvements\nSkills and experience you have:\nYou don’t need to check every box. The expected annual salary range for this role is: $23-$26 per hour.\nDepending on your qualifications, you may be considered for the Pharmacy Billing Specialist title.
