Our customers are primarily from three main sectors. 

At Finance&Energy, we are active in development for the leading European financial exchanges. The finance sector is an area we started in and have been in for over 15 years, so we have rich experience and can afford to go into bigger and more complex projects. For example, we are currently developing a brand new greenfield trading system that has an advanced technology architecture and processes tens of thousands of events per second.

In Health, we are working with leading German health insurance companies. We are currently developing a system for managing the insured's account in a microservice architecture for one of the leading German health insurance companies. For example, we are also developing a system for the organization of assistance services for handicapped insureds throughout Germany. Another hot trend in this area is digital aids paid for by health insurance, for example, the Apple watch app we are developing, based on the use of health data from the watch, which allows cardiologists to monitor the ECG of their patients.

The third sector is Digital Business. We are keeping up, and have opened up further opportunities in this growing area, in the development of cloud-based solutions. A current example is building a platform for financing development projects, running on Microsoft cloud services (Azure).

Senior iOS & Android Developer

As a Senior iOS & Android Developer, you will take technical ownership of mobile applications used in demanding international projects, particularly in the health, finance and digital business sectors.
 
You will be involved in the complete mobile application lifecycle — from analysing requirements and designing the architecture to development, testing, deployment, monitoring and releasing applications on the App Store and Google Play.
 
A key requirement is active professional experience with both iOS and Android development. You should be confident working with Swift and Kotlin and able to contribute independently across both platforms. Experience with only one of these technologies is not sufficient for this role.

What you will do?

• Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Make key technical decisions regarding mobile architecture and technology
• Work with Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit
• Work with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Android frameworks
• Design and implement integrations with APIs and external services
• Write and maintain unit and snapshot tests
• Review code and ensure high standards of quality, security and maintainability
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Improve application performance, stability and user experience
• Participate in technical discussions with clients and project teams
• Contribute to development processes, coding standards and best practices
• Support and mentor less experienced developers
• Take responsibility for preparing and releasing applications on the App Store and Google Play
• Monitor applications in production and contribute to their continuous improvement

What we expect from you?

• Several years of professional experience in mobile application development
• Strong and demonstrable experience with both Swift and Kotlin
• Experience with both iOS and Android development
• Knowledge of modern mobile architectures and development principles
• Experience with automated testing and code reviews
• Experience with CI/CD and mobile application release processes
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the App Store and Google Play
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions
• Willingness to share knowledge and support other team members
• Good communication skills in English
• Experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams
