The Budget Analyst II serves as a financial advisor to program and operational stakeholders by performing budget analysis, financial monitoring, expenditure reviews, funds control oversight, and financial reporting activities.\nThe Budget Analyst II is responsible for validating financial transactions, monitoring budget execution, assessing program expenditures, identifying financial trends, and ensuring compliance with Federal financial management regulations, agency policies, and internal controls. The individual works independently on routine and moderately complex financial matters while supporting program managers, financial leadership, and customer organizations.\nThis position supports the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of financial resources and serves as a key interface between program offices, finance personnel, and Government stakeholders.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation:\nBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.\nExperience:\nMinimum five (5) years and up to eight (8) years of experience supporting Federal budgeting, accounting, financial management, or program financial operations.\nExperience supporting budget formulation, budget execution, financial reporting, and expenditure management.\nExperience with reimbursable programs, interagency agreements, grants, cooperative agreements, or other Federal funding mechanisms.\nExperience analyzing financial data and preparing management reports.\nPreferred Experience:\nExperience supporting Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), or other Federal law enforcement organizations.\nExperience with:\nUnified Financial Management System (UFMS)\n\nInvoice Processing Platform (IPP)\n\nFederal financial reporting systems\n\nFunds control and budget execution processes\n\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive Top Secret (TS) clearance required.\nMust be able to maintain all FBI suitability and security
