Additional responsibilities may include monthly reports; monitoring and analyzing financial, statistical, and operational data trends; and special projects as requested.\nThis individual will work with the VP of Finance and Business Leaders to translate strategy into actionable plans, leverage in-depth analysis to provide the story behind the numbers and respond to business changes with agility. Also providing analytical support to Operations through the creation and maintenance of various BI reports, analysis, PowerPoint presentations, data models, and analytical tools.\nResponsibilities:\nBudgeting and Forecasting: Includes the preparation of appropriate analysis to support the development of financial guidelines as well as the development and implementation of financial planning schedules and procedures at all levels of the Company. Review and analyze budgets and make appropriate recommendations to management.\nFinancial Analysis: Provide financial and analytical support to internal customers. Review and analyze actuals versus budget.\nFinancial Reporting: Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive internal financial reporting package to support the monthly preparation of business unit, department and consolidated financial statements. This includes maintenance of hierarchies to keep reporting in sync. Work with ViewPoint - Vista, Power BI, Smart Sheets and Prophix.\nProcess Improvement: Identify and lead process improvement initiatives. Assist on cross-functional teams, as required, to improve budgeting and financial reporting processes.\nContinuously seek new ways to leverage business data to offer fresh insights and aid decision making.\nTranslate business strategies, initiatives, and projects into effective financial modeling.\nAct as Finance representative for cross-functional projects\nUnderstand the business and information needs of business owners and translate those needs into BI/analytics/reporting requirements.\nSupport the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, data mining, analyses, dashboards, PowerPoint presentations etc. that drive meaningful, timely, and actionable insights and can be easily interpreted by users.\nWork with Operations team and utilize data insights to help drive predictive operational behavior.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study required.\n5+ years' relevant work experience in accounting, financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis\nrequired. Experience in Construction accounting and/or public accounting preferred.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced unstructured environment; excellent financial skills; expertise\nwith financial reporting and analysis including balance sheets, profit and loss, return on asset\nand investment, metrics and measurements, etc.\nStrong Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, and ODBC connections.\nStrong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills required. Must\ndemonstrate ability to successfully interact effectively with all levels in the organization.\nHigh level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems\nand devise actionable solutions.\nAbility to work cross functionally and support multiple senior level internal clients.\nComfortable working with large volumes of data and diligence when managing detail.\nTime management and ability to complete work under tight deadlines.\nCore Competencies:\nXLI Steward\nManagerial Courage\nBridge Builder\nPeople Builder\nContinuous Learner\nBusiness Acumen\nStrategic Edge\nCompensation:\nIn accordance with California pay transparency requirements, the base salary range for this position is $110,100 - $117,500 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
