Outside the usual suspects of solutions, projects, deep troubleshooting and investigations you will also be driving the Group towards its cloud-native goal. Processes, best practices, pillars and their risk assessments will be but a few of the long-term responsibilities you will have.\nThe main responsibilities of the position include:\nHonour and practice Well Architected Framework in all tasks and responsibilities \nResearch workloads for migrating them to the cloud with minimal interruption and impact \nDesign, orchestrate and track cloud migration projects \nDesign and consult re-platform and re-factor of current cloud infrastructure \nCoordinate with other IT departments and teams about their cloud infrastructure \nInvestigate and perform regular assessments of cloud deployments in compliance to the Group's standards and best practices \nDesign and orchestrate a risk register of cloud deployments and resources, and coordinate its communication to project managers, senior leadership and other IT departments or teams \nResearch, develop and implement fair use policies and best practices for cloud services while complying to the Group's standards \nDrive requests for new technologies, services or solutions required from internal customers \nDesign, document and deploy Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and Solutions for internal customers in compliance with the Group's framework \nDefine and oversee the Group's deployment standards and pillars and ensure they are applied across cloud solutions and resources \nFollow and provide training for new and current technologies and services used \nAnalyse, oversee and remediate cloud costs \nMain requirements:\nUniversity degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar discipline \n5 years of cloud services experience, 3 of which should be on AWS cloud \nAdvanced knowledge in solution design and deployment projects \nUnderstanding and practice of Well Architected Framework \nMethodical troubleshooting of issues and mentoring capabilities \nExperience in AWS technologies, services and ecosystem \nAdvanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools, preferably \nHCL Terraform and AWS CloudFormation \nExperience with versioning tools such as git \nAdvanced Linux, networking and scripting skills (Bash) \nComprehend and accommodate practices such as FinOPS or SRE \nDistinctive organisation and documentation skills \nThe following will be considered an advantage:\nExperience in Windows OS \nExperience in RDBMSs, preferably Postgres and
