You will be responsible for driving processes around reliability, best practices, cultural change, and enforcement of these practices.\nThe main responsibilities of the position include:\nHonor and practice the Resiliency pillar of the Well Architected Framework in all tasks and responsibilities\nConduct Chaos Engineering experiments and relevant exercises to improve resiliency and fault-tolerance\nResearch workloads for migrating to the cloud with minimal disruption and impact\nMonitor cloud migration projects to ensure seamless transitions\nDesign, consult, re-platform, and re-factor the observability of current cloud infrastructure\nCoordinate with other IT departments and teams regarding observability for both individual and organizational needs\nRegularly assess cloud deployments for compliance with the company’s standards and best practices\nInvestigate and correct areas where observability is lagging\nStay up to date and provide training on new and current technologies, services, tools, methodologies, and practices\nOccasionally participate in service capacity planning, software performance analysis, and system tuning\nMentor colleagues in technical skills and knowledge\nAnalyze, oversee, and remediate the company’s resiliency\nParticipate in on-call support 24/7 based on a rotation schedule\nMain requirements:\nBSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or related field\n5+ years of cloud services experience, with at least 3 years on AWS cloud\n3+ years of experience in SRE or a similar role\nExperience with monitoring, APM, logging, and notification tools\nFamiliarity with incident, problem and change management procedures and practices\nAdvanced knowledge of SRE practices and methods\nUnderstanding and practice of Service Levels\nStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to mentor others\nExtensive experience with Kubernetes and related technologies, services, and ecosystem\nAdvanced knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools, especially HCL Terraform and AWS CloudFormation\nExperience with versioning tools like Git\nStrong organizational and documentation skills\nExceptional time management and research abilities\nAdvanced Linux, networking, and scripting skills\nThe following will be considered an advantage:\nExperience with platforms like Kafka (MSK)\nExperience with RDBMSs, particularly Postgres and MySQL\nKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Go\nBenefit from:\nAttractive remuneration package and perks\nIntellectually stimulating work environment\nContinuous personal development and international training opportunities\nThe Hiring Experience: What Awaits You\nShow Your Skills -
